Confidence, Curiosity and Community

Your child is full of wonder between the ages of 2.5 and 4. As their personality develops and they discover how the world works, encouragement and nurture are so important. At Teddington Bears Early Learning Centre, our Toddlers and Preschoolers program builds on this natural curiosity with a hands-on, play-based curriculum informed by a Circle of Security approach to care.

  • Holistic development: Our program encourages independence, social confidence, and emerging academic skills.
  • Sparking curiosity: Children explore language, music, art and early STEM concepts through hands-on activities.
  • Balanced learning: Our program includes open-ended play and intentional teaching, social interactions and solo time, quiet hours and messy group activities.
  • Emotional and physical security: Each day is anchored by a consistent routine in a warm, homelike space where every child is welcomed.
Our approach to early childhood education is grounded in nurturing your child’s individual development in a safe, caring and thoughtfully designed environment.

Every Day is Full of Discovery

Our daily rhythm supports a balance of active learning, calm moments and meaningful connection. We combine structured experiences with time for self-directed play.

Why Families Choose Teddington Bears

At Teddington Bears Early Learning Centre in Perth, we nurture your child’s curiosity to help them become confident, community-minded learners. Guided by a Circle of Security approach and an early learning curriculum aligned to Kindergarten guidelines, our educators provide connection, structure, and high-quality care.

Small Group Sizes

Children form meaningful relationships with peers and educators. A high educator-to-child ratio allows us to tailor learning and notice little milestones like new experiences and budding interests.

Diversity and Respect

Everyone is welcome in the Teddington Bears community. We proactively seek opportunities to celebrate diversity, whether in little moments like meals or through cultural events that bring our community together.

Holistic Development

Children learn to listen, share, take turns, and speak up, gaining the social tools they need to be confident citizens. They also develop independence and problem-solving skills that will carry them into the School Readiness Program and beyond.
