Infants
(6 weeks to 2.5 years) A secure and nurturing start where sensory discovery, motor skills and emotional connection take centre stage. We follow your child’s home routine and support development at their own pace.
Toddlers
(2.5 to 4 years) Our play-based curriculum supports holistic development and nurtures your child’s budding interests. They explore language, STEM, art and relationships through hands-on experiences.
School Readiness
To help your child transition confidently to Kindy, we blend structured activities and guided inquiry with play-based learning. Our curriculum-aligned program provides the foundational skills to thrive in a new environment.

Teddington Bears is a boutique early learning centre in Perth with thoughtfully designed, homelike spaces. We want every child to feel confident walking into their room each day, and every family to feel welcome.
Safety First
We maintain high hygiene standards and secure perimeters. All staff are certified, highly experienced, and First Aid trained, and we prepare meals in an allergy-safe onsite kitchen.

Each room is tailored to its age group, with flexible zones for play, rest and learning. Natural light, soft textures and familiar routines help children feel grounded and secure from day one.
Outdoor Learning
Nature play is part of every program. Your child will discover a world of fascination in our safe and shaded gardens, water play areas and climbing structures.

Calm nooks invite rest, reflection, or one-on-one time with educators. Active areas facilitate collaboration and creativity. From messy play to music and nap time, we are set up to encourage your child’s every interest.

Will I receive updates on my child’s progress?
Yes. You’ll receive daily updates, photos and learning stories through a secure online platform. We also schedule regular check-ins and parent meetings to share developmental progress and support transitions. Our monthly newsletter keeps you informed about curriculum updates and centre information, and regular community events or volunteer days provide opportunities to join your child’s learning journey.

How do you help children adjust to new spaces and routines?
We gently introduce your child to new rhythms while paying attention to their needs and comfort levels. Younger children often follow their home routine, while older children are supported to prepare for the routine of school.
Our experienced educators adapt throughout the day, ensuring that your child is comfortable, rested, engaged and enthusiastic.
Can I access the Child Care Subsidy through Teddington Bears?
Yes, Teddington Bears is a registered Child Care Subsidy (CCS) provider. We can help you navigate your eligibility and apply for support to reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

How much do early childhood programs cost?
We strive to make early childhood affordable and accessible for Perth families. Our standard fee is $165 (plus GST) per day for all programs, which includes:
- Freshly prepared meals and snacks.
- Nappies and wipes for infants and toddlers.
- High-quality learning resources and equipment.
- Access to our online portal for updates and communication.
- Excursions, incursions, special events and cultural celebrations.
As a CCS-approved early learning provider, we can help you reduce your out-of-pocket expenses. We’ll guide you through the application to ensure you receive the right subsidy.
What are your opening hours?
Teddington Bears Early Learning Centre in Perth is open from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. These extended hours give working parents flexibility and a consistent care solution.
We do our best to be flexible, however please note that late pick-up fees may apply after 6pm.
